Normally I call it "frivolous Friday" but this one might need to be called "fantastic Friday."

Last night I went to the NC state fair here in Asheville, and I happened to hear about a human cannon ball doing a show at 9.

OBVIOUSLY I'M STICKING AROUND.

It. Was. Fantastic.

I got the whole thing on tape.

Lots of bits of business that I noticed.

It's a family thing: those are his two daughters & son helping with the act.

Production value: notice the up-lights on the top of the cannon so the guy is lit while he's doing his ballyhoo.

And a bunch of other stuff I'll leave you to discover.

So give it a watch and marvel at the human spirit.
