There are two definitions of a “pro” that have made me smile over the years.
From the magic world: An amateur is someone who does different tricks for the same people. A pro does the same tricks for different audiences.
From the biz world: A pro is someone who gets on a plane for work.
This past week I was on several planes getting to/from Cheyenne Wyoming & Detroit Michigan & Toledo Ohio.
And I did the same tricks in all of those places.
There’s a certain freedom in not having to figure out what to do next.
When you buckle down and focus on doing your best, that usually means that you stick with one thing and sharpen that as much as possible.
