When someone mentions “sales” as a job / profession / thing, what comes to your mind? How do you define it?
I have a theory.
If you have a negative-leaning association, then you’re less likely to share your skills with the world.
“I don’t want to be. . . sales-y about it.”
And I’m pretty sure that belief has destroyed millions of dreams.
And kept people trapped in the problems that could have been fixed if the person with the answer had been willing to talk about it.
Because we all sell ourselves, first, on any idea and everything else flows from there.
So tell me what you think. What is sales?
